Later, I became an avid tennis player. After years of playing hard on the tennis court, my neck, lower back and hips were often in pain. Looking to improve my condition, and not just find a temporary fix, I discovered Pilates; now I’m pain free and feel the best I’ve felt in my adult life. Thrilled with the results, I went on to become a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor.
I chose STOTT PILATES® because this method combines the original teachings of Joseph Pilates with a contemporary approach incorporating techniques from physical therapy, sports medicine and academic fitness. With my background and training I’m qualified to work with a wide range of clients: persons rehabbing an injury; elite athletes; and everyone else in between. Moreover, I’m certified to work with clients who have injuries, and persons with special needs, and can collaborate with doctors and physical therapists.
Programs are individualized to best suit each client’s goals– whether it’s
receiving a challenging workout or addressing a particular physical setback that makes daily tasks difficult. My job is to start where you are and move you in the direction of your aspirations as safely and quickly as possible. The sessions are fun and the results are real.
